Origins of Non-verbal communication

I had not intended to post anything of substance at this point in the semester but I found this article in the New York Times and the content fits nicely with Chapter 4 in the text.

This article makes a great point that human gesturing could have evolved from our ancient ancestors. Its not something most of us really stop to consider, but it is interesting that we are still using means of communication that originated millions of years ago.
